About Me

My name is Aldana D'Abundo and I am an English Teacher.

I was born in the beautiful city of Quilmes in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I live in Vicente López with my husband and my two cats. Aren't they cute?

TEACHING:

I have been teaching English as a foreign language to students of all ages, since 2003 and I absolutely LOVE what I do.

I teach because, if I do, I get to be a lifelong learner,
I teach because I strongly believe that what I do makes a difference,
I teach because there isn't a more rewarding occupation in the world!

MY OTHER PASSIONS:

I love reading. My favourite authors are Paul Auster, Ian McEwan and Milan Kundera -among many others! My love of literature also spreads to my classroom. I love introducing my students to literature, and I try to do it as often as possible -both prose and poetry have a special place in our lessons.

I also love travelling, going to rock concerts, watching football matches, going to the cinema and watching series and sit-coms.
